I went to this police station on June 7 around six pm looking for someone to help me because I just been robbed at the pool right across the road. It took me about 35 minutes to find A police officer and once I did I told him the incedient of what it happened. He then proceeded to fill out a case report and gave me my case number and told me that he was going to get back to me in a couple days with some information. But he had told me as we were walking out of the police station that he was going over to The pool to get the video surveillance and talk to the people at the front desk right then. And that he was going to start working on my case immediately. A couple days go by I don't hear from him I tried calling the number that he had given me to contact him and no answer, so I go down to the pool and ask the man at the front desk that was working the same day that my incident happened and I asked him if any police had been down to talk to them about my case and then he says no. So I then contact The police station and I asked him about my case I asked them if they had found any information out and if anybody had even been working on the case the woman was not very nice on the phone and even sent me straight to voicemail whenever I was trying to explain to her that I knew that no one had gone down to speak with anyone at the pool. So then a week or so later I got a call from another officer that started to work on my case and was telling me that he's looking into it and he is going to go try and figure out who it is and get The video surveillance. Then he called me a week later and tells me that there is nothing that he can do because the video footage doesn't stay in the system for that long. So moral of the story is if they would've just worked on my case whenever I had given it to them whenever it literally would've taken them 10 minutes to walk across the road and get the video surveillance but instead they waited too long and now there's no way for me to get any of the money back that was stolen from me.
